Utilizing cotton wicks with the oil allowed for a more consistent flame and could be easily refilled with available whale oil. Many forms and styles were available and ours were designed from original antiques.

Lantern has a steeple top with a wooden finial and a black metal handle that can be used for hanging display. It has a flat base and open frame and it looks great paired with a pillar candle and seasonal florals. Lantern is lightly distressed with subtle streaks of white paint and it measures 16" high by 8.5" in diameter.
